Conference Overview

The 1st International Conference on Sustainable Maritime Engineering and Science (ICoSMES 2026) aims to provide an international forum for researchers, engineers, scientists, practitioners, and policymakers to share and discuss the latest advances in science and engineering innovations supporting smart, resilient, and sustainable marine development.

In response to global challenges such as climate change, maritime decarbonization, digital transformation, and environmental sustainability, ICoSMES 2026 promotes interdisciplinary collaboration to advance sustainable solutions for marine ecosystems, maritime infrastructure, and the Blue Economy, particularly relevant for coastal and island regions.

Paper Submission

  • Submitted papers must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
  • All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
  • Accepted papers must be presented at the conference (onsite or online).
  • Conference language: English.
  • Paper format and submission system will be announced on the official conference website.

Publication Opportunity

Accepted and presented papers will be published in conference proceedings and submitted for indexing in reputable international databases (e.g., Scopus, subject to publisher approval). Selected high-quality papers may be invited to submit extended versions to partner international journals.
